Baked Trout with Brussels sprouts and Kumquats

A light recipe today, just to call the sun and prepare for the summer ^^ You already know, I’m a big fan of fish and seafood, more than meat, and I appreciate especially the quick, light and colorful dishes. This is the case of the recipe of the day: trout fillets, simply baked accompanied by Brussels sprouts and onions. Season, sprinkle with olive oil and bake in the oven! At the exit I sprinkle chopped herbs and kumquats to bring freshness.

I serve with rice and an homemade mayonnaise flavored with dill. You can also make this recipe on the barbecue, think about it for this summer, and replace Brussels sprouts with peppers or zucchini.

Baked Trout with Brussels sprouts and Kumquats

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Course: Main dish
Servings: 2 personnes

Ingredients

  • 2 trout fillets
  • 150 g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 bunch dill
  • 1 bowl mayonnaise homemade
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C/350°F. Prepare a baking sheet and put the trout fillets, brussels sprouts cut in half and the onion cut into slices.
  • Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with rapeseed oil.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. At the exit of the oven, sprinkle with dill and serve with a homemade dill mayonnaise.
