Garden & Villa Resort, Hotel in</br>Ischia

Since 2 weeks since I make you dream (I hope!) with my trip to Ischia :) Now that you know how to come to Ischia, where to eat, what souvenirs to bring back from Ischia, … it’s still missing a very important info, right? Where to stay in Ischia!

And then, if you love nature, tranquility, relaxation and 4 stars service, I have ferreted out a little nugget: the Garden & Villas Resort. Located in Forio, a few steps away from Lacco Ameno, this hotel takes you into a moment of tranquility. A magical green place where everything is done for you to spend a good time to be pampered by friendly staff, smiling and listening.

As Ischia is famous for its spas, it is to note that you have a direct access by foot (350 m) to Negombo terms via a nice trail. And if you don’t want to walk, the hotel offers a shuttle ;)

The hotel rooms are divided into 9 beautiful villas with white facades playing hide and seek in the lush vegetation of Ischia. Small paths wind between the different villas and each corner we come across offers a new space for relaxation: a breathtaking view of the sea, a small pond with goldfish, a pretty arbor, etc … I really enjoyed to walk every morning in the 30,000 m² gardens before going to breakfast :)

I take you visit my room? During my stay, I had the chance to stay in a room category “Superior (room # 204) with a beautiful sea view (a little “free extra”, because this room is not categorized as sea view, so it got the view without the price ^^).

Very large and bright, I felt myself immediately comfortable, the king size bed is super comfortable, there are large mirrors and the bathroom is spacious and pleasant, with a window that allows for daylight to prepare (a big big plus for me ^^). Note: the mini bar is included in the room rate and recharged every day softs.

I also have a large private terrace with table and chairs and 2 sdeck chairs you do not see in the picture: the terrace goes around the room in L!

There are 7 categories of rooms from the “Classic” (the 1st picture below) to the “Suite” (last 2 photos below). Each room is decorated in tones allying with the colors you will see from the windows: the green of the vegetation, blue sea, the red of the terracotta, etc … All is warm and welcoming without “too much”, in short, it’s relaxing !

For price, depending of course of booking periods, count between 180 and 500 € per night half board according to the reserved room category.

All rooms have their private terrace to enjoy the outdoors and views of the gardens or the sea. In the suites, there are even private Jacuzzi on the terrace !!!

The hotel’s restaurant, named “Il Corbezzolo” (strawberry tree) offers typical cuisine of Ischia and Naples. On the menu: light and tasty dishes as bruschetta with basil and fresh tomatoes, many colorful salads, rabbit ischitana way, pizzas according to the Neapolitan tradition cooked over a wood fire, etc … Note: several dishes map are vegetarians!

For breakfast, the buffet is gargantuan and very complete: pastries, meats, cheeses, etc … All accompanied by fresh homemade bread in the wood oven restaurant!

I enjoyed that most of the vegetables used in the restaurant come from the organic gardens of the hotel you can see in you roam.

Besides the pool, kept at a temperature of 28 ° C / 82° F, in front of the restaurant, the hotel offers many facilities for relaxation of its guests:

  • The “Garden Wellness Center” which includes a spa with indoor pool, steam room, gym and massage is very nice and I finished all my days with the othe blogger girls, just to relax before dinner ^ ^
  • The reading room, right next to the Wellness Center, lets settle for reading a good book or chat in a pleasant atmosphere.
  • The bar “La Grotta”, which as its name suggests is located in a cave near the pool, welcomes us to start or extend the evening pleasantly with a drink while enjoying some live music!

In short, everything you need for a pleasant moment out of time :)
